A group of Brakenhale students recently represented the school at a New Age Kurling event hosted by Garth Hill College. The team consisted of Freddie, Archie, James, Charlie, Matilda, Skylar, Hannah and Angel, all of whom showed great enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day.

Brakenhale entered two teams into the competition. Brakenhale B performed exceptionally well, competing in the top three teams’ play-off. They demonstrated excellent tactical play and consistency, finishing the event as overall runners-up – a fantastic achievement.

Brakenhale A competed in the bottom three teams’ play-off and faced some strong opposition. Despite this, the team remained positive and determined, gaining valuable experience and finishing 14th overall.

Both teams represented Brakenhale with pride, supporting one another and displaying a positive attitude throughout the competition. Well done to all students involved for their effort, resilience and commitment – it was a great day of New Age Kurling for Brakenhale School.
