Sports & PE update

It has been an action-packed term in the PE department! Our athletes have shown incredible resilience, particularly in the face of some nail-biting finishes. From last-minute goals to the high stakes of penalty shoot-outs, the school spirit has been on full display.
Football
All of our football teams have had a busy and successful season, with several squads making deep runs into their respective competitions:
- U16 Boys: A massive congratulations to the U16s for reaching the Semi-Finals of both the League and County Cups. After two grueling penalty shoot-outs and some of the most "edge- of-your-seat" performances we’ve seen, their journey ends here. They should be incredibly proud of their efforts over the 5 years, as we definitely are!
- U15 Girls: The girls are through to the Quarter-Finals of the County Cup, which is an incredible achievement. We are eagerly awaiting their next fixture and sending them all our support for a win.
- U14 & U15 Boys: Both squads have dominated their brackets to reach the League Cup Semi-Finals. We are awaiting these results - stay tuned!
- U13 Girls: A fantastic effort saw them qualify for the next round of the County Cup. While they were eventually knocked out on penalties, their progress this year has been outstanding.
Basketball
It wasn’t just about football this term. Our U14 Basketball team secured a brilliant victory against Ranelagh! It was a high-energy game that showcased some fantastic tactical play and teamwork.
Onto the Summer Term
As the weather warms up, we are transitioning to our summer sports, and are extremely excited for the main event - SPORTS DAY!
We are also gearing up for the highly anticipated GLT Competitions. Our students will be representing the school in:
- The GLT Football Tournament
- Rounders & Athletics Championships
- District Athletics
- Annual fixtures against our local Bracknell Forest rivals
Please also see the half-term 5 clubs offer, where we are thrilled to offer a diverse range of sports including Athletics, Rounders, Tennis, and Cricket.
Back by Popular Demand: Due to its massive popularity, Trampolining will remain on the schedule for the Summer term!
A huge well done to every student who represented the school this term. Your hard work and sportsmanship make us proud!
