Brakenhale Students Showcase Their Creativity at The Lexicon

We are delighted that Brakenhale School is taking part in this summer’s exciting Dragon Trail at The Lexicon.

Our talented students have transformed a dragon egg into a unique work of art, which will be displayed in Bracknell town centre alongside designs from nine other local schools and colleges. The trail will also feature five impressive animatronic dragons and a 1.6-metre-tall LEGO® dragon, creating a fun, interactive experience for visitors throughout the summer.

The trail is sponsored by Bracknell-based fine arts manufacturer Daler-Rowney, which has generously awarded each participating school and college a bundle of premium art supplies worth £250 in recognition of the students’ creativity.

Sustainability is also at the heart of the project. The dragon eggs have been repurposed from previous installations at The Lexicon and reused for the fifth time, with each egg returned to a blank canvas before being given to students.

Visitors will be able to scan a QR code beside each egg and vote for their favourite design—so please look out for Brakenhale School’s creation and show your support!

Alongside the trail, The Lexicon will offer a packed programme of summer activities and opportunities to win a share of £1,000 worth of prizes.
