Brakenhale Sixth Form Celebrates Incredible A-Level Results

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our Sixth Form students’ outstanding A-Level results today! This year, the percentage of students achieving A–A* grades has doubled and value added scores have increased by 0.46, reflecting the exceptional progress and attainment of our students. Whether they are going on to university, embarking on apprenticeships, starting work, travelling, taking a gap year, or exploring something completely different, we congratulate every one of them on their achievements and wish them success in the exciting journeys ahead.

Headteacher Camilla Douglas said: “We are extremely proud of our students’ achievements and privileged to be celebrating with them today. The hard work and dedication shown by our young people has been exceptional. The percentage of students achieving top grades has doubled, and they have secured some incredible destinations as a result. It is wonderful to see increasing numbers of students going on to Russell Group Universities, and we are delighted that nearly all students have been accepted into their first-choice university. Well done!”
