On 9th December, Greenshaw Learning Trust hosted a heartwarming Winter Concert at the stunning setting of Charterhouse School, Godalming. The evening was a true celebration of musical talent and festive spirit, bringing together eight schools from the south east for a memorable seasonal performance.

Three students proudly represented Brakenhale, captivating the audience with performances that reflected both skill and emotion. Nancy Swanton Year 8 and Francesca Ferris Year 9 delivered a beautiful and moving rendition of “Mary, Did You Know?”, their harmonies blending perfectly and creating a truly magical moment that resonated throughout the chapel. Adding to the atmosphere, Shayan Fandibanda performed an accomplished piano solo, showcasing both confidence and musicality. They joined in with a group number to close the concert of “ A little Love” singing alongside the other schools.

The concert was a heartwarming reminder of the power of music to bring people together, particularly at this special time of year. It was a wonderful evening that embodied the spirit of Christmas and highlighted the exceptional talent across the GLT community.
